MANILA, Philippines – The Embassy of Israel in the Philippines has extended its sympathy to Filipinos impacted by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine (international name Trami), which has caused significant damage and loss of life.
In a statement Monday, the embassy offered encouragement to grieving families, prayers for those injured and support for communities working to recover.

“Our hearts go out to the Filipino people who have been affected,” the statement read, adding that Israel stands “in spirit and prayer” with its Filipino friends.
